The art of holding and being held
Curious? Scroll down!
My interest is where technique meets
embodied intelligence.
I teach Shibari as something felt in the body,
where the real skill is knowing how a tie lands,
how to hold and how to let go.
Riggers
No model - no problem.
Learn to tie from someone who's spent twenty years being tied.

One-to-one instruction from both ends of the rope, so you don't just learn where the rope goes, you learn what it does to the person in it.
No partner? You won't miss out. You'll tie me: the difference a few degrees of tension makes, why a tie that looks right can still feel wrong, how to read the body in front of you and adjust before they have to ask.
For experienced riggers, this is close, honest feedback of a kind that's hard to come by: the small corrections in placement, timing and mechanics that move you further in one class than months of practising alone. Bring a tie that's been bothering you and we'll take it apart together.
First evening in rope or years in, the class is built around your hands, your pace, and what you want to be able to do.

Couples
Learn the art of holding and being held.
Of truly seeing each other.

An unhurried class in a private London studio, just the two of you: learning to tie, to be tied, and to feel what moves between you when one of you holds and the other lets go.
We start slow. You'll learn to read each other: the change in breath when a tie lands right, the small tells that say more, or enough. Rope gives you a way to ask and answer without words, and it has a way of staying with a couple long after the last rope comes undone.
No experience needed, and none assumed. First time or years in, the class shapes itself around the two of you, your bodies, your pace, and what you're curious to feel.
