Private Tuition

Shibari or Kinbaku is an inherently risky form of play and requires a solid foundation of skills and knowledge to navigate and mitigate those risks. Learning how to tie is a lot like learning an instrument or learning how to dance. You will need a certain amount of technique to be able to express yourself (on both sides of the rope) but once you have a good foundation and understanding this practice will hold magic.
In private classes we can tailor the pace and the learning content to your individual needs or you can book one of the packages below that contain pre-defined content according to what is requested the most when you start out. I usually teach in increments of 3 hours + as this has been proven to be the best time frame. However, if you can't do 3h increments, please let me know and we'll find a format that suits you.
If you are not quite sure where to start your journey, you can also choose from the packages below:

Water (9h total)
This course takes you into partials and semi-suspension. You'll learn what makes a harness structurally sound for suspension, how to attach and securely lock off uplines. We'll revisit body handling but this time in partials, how to be and keep being present with your partner and communicate effectively and if time allows, throw bamboo into the mix. Please bring a tying partner/model for this course.

Embodied Rope
(6h total)
In this course you'll learn all about Somatics for you and your tying partner. The emotional impact and how to build and play with it.
We will also focus on the model and really dive deep into emotional landscaping and nonverbal communication.
Tying with an Experienced model and Teacher
I also offer a unique approach of teaching from both sides of the rope. If you don't have a partner you want to bring, I will be teaching you to tie and model at the same time. Also if you want to learn with an experienced model to refine your technique and get honest feedback to advance your impact on the tying partner or to figure our new sequences, I am able to help with all of this.
This will help you to advance on your journey much faster and safer.
